Located in the Manalapan Commons shopping center on Route 9 and just a few miles from the Freehold-based CentraState, the new primary care and multispecialty facility provides a wide range of adult health services in one location and provides care that is connected to the nationally recognized medical center.
In addition to their walk-in lab services, the site will also feature comprehensive personalized care from expert physicians and specialists in:

MANALAPAN-ENGLISHTOWN, NJ — The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District will relocate administrative offices and start construction on a new addition to their middle school this summer, Superintendent Nicole Santora said in a letter to families.
The announcement comes after the district’s $115.4 million bond referendum passed in November, which called for the construction of an addition to Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School (MEMS) and the relocation of administrative offices on 54 Main Street.
According to district officials, maintaining the current administration building would require “extensive renovations and ongoing repairs, making it neither sustainable nor fiscally responsible.”
The district anticipates breaking ground on the new addition over the summer and plans to move into the new space within the next 18 months.

Once the relocation is complete, Santora said the district’s intention has been to sell the current property and use proceeds to either supplement the annual operating budget or pay down the long-term bonds.
On Tuesday, May 13, the Englishtown Borough Joint Planning & Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on the 54 Main Street property.
At this meeting, the board will review the findings of its redevelopment study and consider recommending to the Borough Council that the current property be designated as a “Condemnation Area in Need of Redevelopment,” which could allow the borough to try and use eminent domain to acquire the property.
“We are in discussions with borough officials to ensure that, should the borough try to acquire the district’s property, the district would receive fair market value as compensation comparable to what could be expected from selling it through a public auction,” Santora said. “We are also working to ensure that the timeline does not disrupt district operations or result in additional costs to taxpayers, such as the cost to rent a facility and/or relocate multiple times.”
Board of Education members and district officials will be in attendance at Tuesday night’s meeting, Santora said.
The district is encouraging anyone interested to join them, and said the community’s “continued engagement is important as we work through this process together.”

MANALAPAN, NJ — Veolia Water New Jersey has finalized its agreement to buy the Manalapan Township Water System for $4 million, company officials announced Thursday.
The announcement comes after 67% of voters approved the water system sale in a referendum vote on Nov. 5.
Now that the agreement has been signed, Veolia said they plan to perform “critical infrastructure improvements” to ensure that the system continues to meet the "highest standards of water quality and reliability."
These projects include:
According to Veolia officials, the water system serves approximately 3,500 households and businesses, and Veolia itself has been a trusted partner with Manalapan since 1995, when it first began managing the water system for the township.

“We are honored by the trust the residents of Manalapan have placed in us, and we are eager to make improvements that will serve this community,” said Alan Weland, the regional president of Veolia Water New Jersey. “I want to thank the Township Committee and voters for approving the sale as the best way forward for Manalapan.”
“The acquisition reflects Veolia's commitment to enhance communities by providing cost-effective, innovative solutions for sustainable water management in line with Veolia’s GreenUp strategy, which strives to transform the environment through cleaner water, reduced emissions, and technological innovation,” Weland continued.
Over the summer, the town hosted an information session for residents to learn more about the water sale and voice any questions or concerns.
According to then-Mayor (now Deputy Mayor) Mary Ann Musich, selling the water system became necessary to ensure the completion of needed system improvements and repairs.
If the town didn’t sell the water system, Musich said they would have to bond for $20 million to complete them, which would result in residents having to pay for improvements as well.
“If we don’t sell the water utility and we end up keeping it, all the improvements that have to be done — probably $20M plus — we would have to bond for,” Musich said. “So everybody in the town will then have to pay for that.”
After residents approved the sale in a town referendum vote on Nov. 5, Veolia agreed to purchase it for $4 million and is now working with Manalapan to ensure a smooth transition for customers.
Pending approval from the NJ Board of Public Utilities (BPU), the company anticipates completing the acquisition in late 2025.
“This sale will improve the water system and help us continue to make Manalapan a great place to live,” Mayor Eric Nelson said. “Veolia has the experience and the expertise to make the necessary upgrades to the system to deliver safe water and reliable service to our families and our neighbors.”
